What is the best forum to ask questions about Oracle Server (non-Java) (Oracle 8.Enterprise Edition Release 8.0.5.0.1 – Production)?

We will still see an error message from you when using the Oracle calling interface when sending a valid SQL SELECT statement to read each column with a LONG data type.

Neither the manual nor any new Oracle website tells us what this error message number means.

    Hello

    ora-32255 not found

I got an ORA-32255 error due to a query generated from a library.
I don’t need to know the reason for the SQL error.

Does anyone know what the ORA-32255 error is?
I can’t find it in the documentation and there are almost no errors reported in my oracle application (other errors in detaildescribed
is displayed, although I think the function is OCI).

    Thank you

    Marko Mikulic

    I should.
I have thought about it with other error numbers and they are displayed correctly
but here at least one is just silent (does not return a byte),< br> as is the case for mobile number 13124211241 , which is clearly not listed.
I therefore conclude that 32255 was never in the database describing the faults measured on my computer, nor in the documents available in PDF format from the online oracle.

PossibleOk, this is related to clobs can-null and OCI, but I don’t really know
the exact SQL code (I could, but it would take forever).
Are clobs new to Oracle9i or could they be something change about
how they are handled (need a new error message when installing)?

    I’m Oracle9i for Linux.

Can anyone support me on many other
    operating systems/distributions/versions/whatever?

    Thank you

    Marco
